Thanks for taking the time to share your first deal post @amandaxix I've added a little more info to title as you have to buy 6 bottles to get the discount.
Time to stock up on the barefoot, best cheapish wine imo
woo hoo... must add this reminder to my calendar
Just starting to run low on my Christmas double up stock so this will do nicely, thanks
Don't forget to pair this with their money off your "first" online order. 12 bottles of wine and 2 boxes of beer should be enough to meet the criteria.
Great thanks, similar to above need to stock up and been waiting for one of these deals 😄
Does this work with boxes of wine as well?

Yes I believe so, just use the online shopping page and add 6 of the boxed wines for a delivery date of 22nd.

Don't try this as its not taking the discount off (its worked in the past though, maybe it only works nearer the time) but I am pretty sure the boxed has been included in the past.

Problem is, if you look at the wine now, and take note of the prices, on 22nd march the prices would of increased, or any offers on previous bottles would of come off.

I checked this out the last time it was on and all the bottles i had my eye on had gone up at least 50p per bottle.

It's a bit crappy, but I've noticed that our prices often get reduced to suit by some chains

I have used Sainsbury's offers on wine like this for about the last two or maybe three occasions and that wasn't the case with anything I bought. However, I did notice one or two wines I often buy had become unavailable for that period, but I had some very good offers and in the past included sparkling and fortified wines too - £5.06 for Dow's Trademark Port for example already on a good reduction @ £6.75 less the 25% discount on 30th November was a particularly good example!

I have certainly marked it in my diary :-)
I'll have to put a reminder on my calendar as well, look out for Tesco's following suit.

Stock up time!

"Would of"? Good Grief!

I'm not a wine snob...however I think that 90% of the wine sold by Sainsbury's is absolute pish. I think that they're often guilty of ridiculous sale prices for really poor wine that was never worth the original prices that they state.

Obviously that's just one opinion and others may think differently.

Just think that dedicated wine sellers like Majestic will offer better quality if buying in bulk even within the lower price range.

I'd be interested if it gets to the Calais price of £3.50 a bottle... Failing that, will get some from Calais in April
Hi. Is there a new customer discount code? I cant get AFFPHFEB60 to work THanks!
The existing wine offers end 20th march, so any on offer now will not be when this.offer kicks in.

Actually Naked Wines (owned by Majestic) are offering clearance mixed/red/white boxes which can work out from £5 a bottle in case you havent seen the email. nakedwines.com/cas…ase £60

I tend to agree with you about quality, you have to take care but the same is true of all the supermarkets tbh.

I think Laithwaites has edged up their prices too far imo.

I should be specific, the discount will only apply to other grocery (non-wine/spirits) items you buy valued at £18 plus

When using a promotional money-off voucher the value of the goods other than spirits, liqueurs or wine during a buy 6 save 25% multibuy offer must be at least equal to the money off offered by the promotional voucher.

This is to ensure that your order complies with recent government legislation regarding the sale of alcohol.

To redeem your evoucher you will need to add non-excluded items to your basket to meet the saving indicated on your voucher.

For example, if you have a £5 off £50 voucher, you need to add £5 worth of items that are not on the list of exclusions below:

  • Spirits and liqueurs
  • Wine during a buy 6 save 25% multibuy offer
  • First stage baby formula products
  • Tobacco and related products

When using a promotional evoucher the following items do not count towards the voucher’s qualifying spend: infant formula, tobacco and related products, gift vouchers, savings or postage stamps, mobile phone vouchers, phone cards or charity products. For example, if you have a £5 off £50 voucher, you need to spend £50 on items other than those listed above.

To add more items to your basket from the Checkout page, please follow the steps below:

Click on Groceries in the top left of the Checkout pageSearch for and add the products you would like to add to your basketCheck you have added enough non-excluded products to meet the saving indicated on your voucherClick on Checkout again, re-enter your voucher code, then click Add Voucher
£5 a bottle is a great price for this...
