I already chucked two in the freezer! Good for a month according to pack but over that would be fine I expect.

thank you. I was deciding what to have tonight. off to sainsbury shortly.

I have eaten curry that has been frozen for over a year, tasted ok after several ciders, never done me no harm.

Not bad. Heat Added

At Christmas they had a similar deal but with 2 sides or desserts included for the same price and that really was a cracking deal.

P.S. I've just been down to Sainsbury's and the Chinese meals are also in this deal.

the best of the supermarket curries ive tried .. good price and you get a lot more more your money as well at normal prices than the much smaller pack amounts at M&S

I know last weekend it also included Mexican and Chinese dishes to.

£2.50 for a Sainsbo microwave curry........not convinced.

Waitrose and M&S curries taste miles better and Waitrose have an offer of 2 curries and 2 sides for £8 just now.

Tesco have been doing 2 chilled curries (and rice) for £5 for a while now, and Korma & rice for £2 for a couple of weeks too.

Not their budget "the curry leaf" ones either, not that they aren't bad but the regular ones are bigger and a bit nicer.

M&S Currys are the best but still nice and cheap.

nothing special....cold

I don't know about these ones but when i've looked at some of their curries before the fat in them is ridiculous,a lot more than other supermarket ready meals.

as you say, includes rice, so half as much actual curry compared to the sainsburys ones so a poor comparison.

Ah, I hadn't checked, I thought the Sainsbury's ones would have been both as well.

Yes 4 Mexican, Chinese and Indian for £10 when i went last week. Nice tasting curries one of the best.

TESCO don't sell any veggie options AFAIK sooo no use to me

Voted hot. Sainsburys have the best choice and are generally better tasting than the other supermarkets for curry ready meals. And they have a good choice of chicken, lamb, prawn/fish and veggie.
The only Indian dish I rate at Tesco is their Finest Dhal Makhani, which as good as restaurant dishes I've eaten.

True as Asda curries are so bland now.

Did you say nice and cheap whats cheap to you i cant find cheap curry meals on there site.

These nearly taste as good if not better than some takeaway curries which are a bit more expensive and Sainsbury's unlike Asda or Tesco use BRITISH CHICKEN in their meals! Not imported Thai chicken! Chicken Patia is probably my favourite at the moment, only introduced a few months back and the Phal is extremely hot for a 'ready meal'

Couldn't agree more. Can't understand why they have chenged so much over the years. Used to be worth the 30 mile round trip for me just for their curries. Even Tesco top Asda now. I've never tried the Sainsburys ones so will get some tonight.

Let me know what you think realitybites

Picked up some of the curries along with the combined curries with rice which are also on offer. Absolutely lovely. Had a madras, wife had the Lamb Rogan and Daughter the Korma. I think with Tikka Masala and Korma they are all pretty good from all the supermarkets, they all seem to get it pretty well right but the Sainsburys ones really are the best out there at the moment.

eating lamb rogan atm. its not bad at all.

EDIT: ya get more meat than i thought.

I agree with you there realitybites. Yes dlc, you do get a lot of meat, I would prefer to have less and have more sauce and other bits or at least have a bigger pack say 600gram instead of 400g but the sauce is what really makes these so great and obviously COOKING THEM IN THE OVEN !! About to get my second 4 packs before the offer ends tomorrow!
