A kilo of class A british chicken with no added water or nasty additives for £5/kg.
Saw those horrible valley foods fillets getting heat at £4/kg, this has got to be worth the extra quid in my opinion.

This is always the price, but I buy it - better than the valley stuff.

You can get decent fresh chicken breast £12 for 2 - 3kg.

If you're careful with the offers you buy it's not that difficult to get fresh for around £6/kg (for example Aldi, which is regularly £5.99 a kilo for Class A fresh). Can't say I think this is a particularly great deal.

anyone in Carlisles new sainsburys beware they have these mixed in with "mini fillets" in almost identical bags, i didnt get the discount and failed to notice till i got home its too cold and wet to go back

Oh? I tend to buy all my chicken frozen as it seems cheaper. Where do you recommend?

2-3 eh, verry specific, where from? 2 is £6/kg and what you going to do if you go out and get yourself 2-3 kilos of chicken breast?
FREEZE it maybe or eat it after it's been in the fridge for a week, really fresh. I don't understand the issue with freezing as a means of preservation.

If you ask youre butcher im sure you can get fresh chicken breast for the same price or less. I get 2kg of fresh chicken breasts from my local butcher for £10

The Farmfoods frozen chicken fillets are hard to beat at £8 for 2kgs.

Not if you have no Farmfoods within 100 miles

Cold......... Not halal

Yes, nothing beats knocking a chicken on the head with a heavy stick just for fun before you chop off its head

The standard chickens are either gassed in pens or hung upside down by their feet and dipped in a bath of electrocuted water – a plastic bar being placed on their chest to keep them calm. Halal chickens have their throats cut when they are alive – albeit in many cases they are stunned in a water bath first.

This is great chicken, use it all the time. No added water, doesn't shrink and tastes very good.

Hot - not Halal - excessive cruelty to animals is not involved.

I got 2.5kg the other day for £12 - I've got it cheaper before so that's why the variation.

I eat 1 or 2 a day, can finish that off in 4-5 days. Still will be fresh.

Bookers fresh chicken fillets are £20 for a 5kg box. That's £4 a kilo.

It's always this price, no deal here. Cold.

Sainsburys alwayS offer this deal. But it's a good deal and maybe some dont know about it... Heat added.
