Sainsbury's cooks collection cast iron griddle pan (Skillet) with grill bar £12.50

I found this cast iron Skillet and Grill bar in the Hamilton Sainsbury's. They had lots of the red ones both with the lid (£12.50) and without the lid (£10.00). They had orange ones without the lid as well.

Note: This is extremely heavy. I weighed it on kitchen scales and it is over 5kg.

I bought one, too, but at £16...it's so wrong in many levels that I love this griddle and get so excited about it.

Great just what I'm looking for will get hubby to take a look hopefully

If you're in the Hamilton one, the orange ones are hanging up in the cookery isle be the red ones are at the end of the Isle on the end facings. If that makes sense.

They had a lot of cast iron casserole dishes as well on offer. I didn't note the prices as I already have one of these.

Thank-you no idea where Hamilton is though lol I'm in London so my local one is the Beckton one but appreciate the info will make him search properly.

Online as well if no store close to you

Mine don't get 'cleaned' they get wiped!

Just picked one up from Richmond Sainsbury's. They had a couple left in orange and cream.

online for £10 but what's a "Grill Bar " as not included online ??

It's basically the lid. As far as I know it has the same pattern at the bottom and speeds up cooking. In my opinion for £2.50 it was worth the risk.

link to online ?

Had one without 'lid' for years. Absolutely love it for burgers, steaks, chicken breasts. Make sure its good and hot before putting your meat on it. Just wipe it over and don't try to get it gleaming clean.

I have a flat bottomed one that hasn't had a proper clean in years, the bottom is a jet black that goes shiny when heated. Nothing sticks, no debris left on food as I wipe it out after every use with a damp cloth, just avoid detergents and it'll last forever.

Hello, I'm having trouble finding this one with the lid. Please could I have the product code and/or barcode? Thanks.

The one I have has the barcode:

5 053217 853902

On the receipt it is called "*red ci griddle set"

Thanks. I'll ring around tomorrow and see if I can get hold of one.
