Good airer for medium weight items. Much more sturdy than the Minky on sale at Tesco for £10. Expands to double with and folds up to a small size.On sale until 28 January.

If you want an airer with lots of line space for small lightweight items like underwear and socks, the Minky is fine. If you want to hang towels, jeans, etc this is much better.

I've just picked my airer up from Sainsburys and it's quite sturdy. Much studier than the Minky one listed on HUKD I bought from Tesco the other day. The Minky one is ideal for small items like underwear and socks. This one is a grey powdered steel and would probably take towels, jeans, etc as long as they were spun before hanging. It expands to almost double width and folds up very small. No delivery charge if you get £15 of goods for in-store collection. I can see why this is normally £22 so at £11 it's an absolute bargain.

Lizzi, if your airer is the same as the one in the photo (mine is steel coloured with dark blue plastic feet and connecting pieces), expand it to it's full height. On the top piece (the one with three bars across) there are two slots in the end plastic pieces which slot into the lugs on the other side's upright. Lift the top piece above the lugs and slide downwards for them to slot into place. You could also lie it on it's side and fasten it that way. Once you have it assembled, you can extend it lengthways.
