Imo £14 was always over priced. £8 is a fair price imo

Easily solved, just order 5!

You are paying equivalent £35/litre for the very average gin.

The Fever Tree would cost you £3.60 which leaves 20ml of gin for £4.40. So we are talking £15.40 for a 70cl bottle and £22 per litre. Sipsmith is £28.50 a bottle, Bombay £21, Beefeater £16 and Martin Miller £21.50 so the gin is worth £6.21 and the pack in total £9.81. So 18% + discount for a fair selection of gins (maybe with the exception of the Beefeater) in a nice package. Sounds like a deal to me.

Excellent! Better than the standard gins with BS, Sipsmith and Millar. Good for a pressie or secret Santa.

Wwouldn't lastme the night though!
I bought this a couple of days ago but noticed it’s quite short drive dated, so no good for secret Santa etc

Can you tell me how long/short expiry date was? I'd ordered some for Christmas before I seen your comment. I've a couple of birthdays coming up though so hoping they'll do for them.

What's the volume of both gin and tonic bottles? 50ml/150ml?

Just picked up one in-store to give as a present. B.B Feb 2019.
I thinks it's a great price as last time I bought one (for a gift) it was £13. Four different double gin & nice tonics for £8!

Thanks for posting the offer, OP!
I went down to Sainsbury's on Tuesday, specifically for this set, but saw an offer on Fever Tree and a smaller selection of gins for around £8 instead. So glad I didn't pay full price for this, however I may have to revisit now, damn!
Super! This offer persuaded me to register an account with Sainsbury, and take advatage of their £18 coupon off a £60 spend as a new customer. (Coupon code SCSSEOMAY1)

Thank you OP

Do you have to spend £60 on groceries on top of this?
just got last 2 from Cramlington........one to drink and one for a present....well maybe
We have bought 3 from Sainsburys at Westhoughton one for a present and the other two to share great deal .....
Decent enough price but "ultimate" is stretching it a bit...
After me buying one, there's still at least 2 left at Sainsbury's, Whitechapel.
Gone back up in price again

I know. I was being a skin flint. And guess what? I missed the deal lol. I went to Tesco by mistake

They tried to deliver an alternative today due to no stock. Instead of 4 gins and 2 tonics it was 1 gin with 1 tonic. Sent it back with the driver. Waste of time.

Nope - the £60 is total order value. When my order arrived - - no stock of Gin + Fever Tree, however, the balance of the order (worth £24_ - less the £20 voucher) just cost me £4! That's a good deal!
