Love how all these supermarkets make a big deal out of matching Aldi price...... Shame they can't do better than that and lead the way with pricing rather than all this crap about matching Aldi... Well done to the traditional supermarkets for ripping us off on everything else they don't match with Aldi

I feel exactly the same about Amazon, they frequently price match other grocery stores but seldom create their own offers.
They don't even have the honesty to own up when they're doing it.

    Is this Fair Trade?

I believe Co-op do a Fairtrade coffee (Fairtrade Rich Roast Instant Coffee 100g £1.05)

Unlike Sainsbury's, Tesco, etc. Aldi match Aldi price on EVERYTHING! Get the real deal!

IMO this is 80% as good as the Nescafe Gold but less than half the price.

Thought inflation was 10%. Some things gone up 50 % at least. Will try sainsbury version in the week

10% average. Energy and food have higher inflation rates than anything else, other items currently have much lower rates (often ~5%).

Been looking for alternative to nescafe. Getting too expensive. Sainsbury tbags taste just like pg tips. Asda coffee looks OK but have never purchased any.

Try the extra strong ones, they're pretty good.

I've been drinking the Aldi/Lidl equivalent for years now. I like it & very much miss the days, not so very long ago, when it was a mere £1.89 a jar.

For me, the Sainsbury's freeze dried decaffeinated coffee is the more interesting buy. It's £2.50 for 200 grams. Aldi & Lidl only do the 100g jars for £1.49. I've always regarded Sainsbury's prices as uncompetitive so it's nice to see them getting back in the game again. (edited)

Aldi one is a nice pick with the cheap price but from the starting of 2022, they keep raising the price I think monthly then I switched to other sources.

Was not impressed with the ALDI version so will give this a try.

Aldi version used to be £1.89 , false economy at the current price which is also now around £2.39. I have to use 50% more coffee for it to taste half as strong as Nescafé so now opt for Nescafé which I get for £5 which tastes a whole lot better. Aldi coffee isn’t worth mor than £2 a jar regardless of the cost of living!

£7.50 for a jar of nescafe gold at Sainsburys is crazy. The cheaper coffees are just as good.

Try L'or if you want something that actually tastes like coffee..
Nescafe gold is awful in comparison.

Been at this price for over a week now. I stocked up on about 16 jars of it. Aldi one is nice. Lidl I would say is the least favourite but OK. Asda is not bad. Been testing them all out as a alternative to kenco as its getting too expensive when you drink a lot of coffee.

Just picked up 3 jars, heat.

Used to buy the Morrisons one 500g at 7.99, will try this one as cheaper.
