I was going to go for the Worx impact driver from argos, but at £50 it seemed a bit overkill for what i wanted, then in Sainsburys (osmaston park, derby) today and noticed that their own brand cordless drill were reduced. 14.4v was £4.50, 9.6v was £3.50.
now thats a steal, comes in a hard carry case with a small selection of drills and screwdriver attachements, a battery and charger.
at that price i bought 2 to keep a spare battery. BARGAIN!!!!!

probably crap but cant complain at that price and ok for basic stuff...wise getting 2

Sometimes you have to accept that products are sometimes reduced because they are sh1te and no-one wants them.
I`m sure this is one of those times.

Crikey agnostic - who killed your cat ? you need something to cheers you up mate.
granted they may not be the best in the world, but the orignal price of £18 for the 14.4v is actually pretty comparable to most placed ' own brand' drills. no they're not great, but they'll do a job if you're on a budget.
if they're that bad, don't buy one.

chill out man.

I got one of these a year or two ago (when they were up for grabs at £5). it's a perfectly good cordless driver - at least as good as other cheapies. I use it most weekends and it's never given me any problems. I'm sure if it was on sale for £60, the same people who are dissing it here would be singing its praises.

Picked up 2 18v cordless hammer drills in the Cheshire Oaks store yesterday for £7.50 each. First time I have got any of these Sainsburys deals.
