Sainsbury's Jam Doughnuts x5 - 50p

Sainsbury's Jam Doughnuts x5 - 50p, also Custard x5 & Sugar Ring Doughnuts x5 at the same price.

Sainsbury's IMO are probably about the best supermarket doughnuts out there. Although Morrisons sell theirs on a regular basis at 50p, I find theirs quite doughy (Just like they have been frozen and defrosted) and the change last year to coating them with Ice Sugar absolutely ruined them for me.

No need to vote the deal cold just because your sainsburys is closed. A good deal is a good deal

Someone might have some beef with the store.

Apologies. As the OP can see, I did vote hot. It was my attempt at sarcasm, given the daft reasons some people put for a cold vote. Difficult to get across in text!

I guess. Also two others around and about too, once only though. Just take it back and ask for a refund...

I couldn't agree more
Cold. Why would you spend 50p on 5 when you can spend £2 on 1 in Krispy Kreme?
Back in the days it was 10 for a pound. Darn inflation
I'm glad it's back at that price
Sainsburys and Morrisons are the only supermarkets to make thier doughnuts in store. Tesco/asda either make theirs offsite or they bring in frozen ones. Morrisons may bring in frozen ones to some stores, as OP says, byt they do coat in icing sugar which is just a waste.

Sainsburys are the king of the supermarket doughnut. Only bettered by bakeries, but then you pay more.
Yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum oh and yum
10p for a tasty jam donought what's not to love
These are nice. KK are just too sickly, too much sugar, not a good balance of dough and sugar.
Who's going to blame this on Brexit?
Naughty but nice! Heat added
Best doughnuts out of any supermarket. We get them all on a daily basis at work - there seems to be a birthday every day.

Can't beat eating vanilla doughnuts at 7am

Picked up a pack of these last night at our local Sainsbury's.
Maybe it's my local, but I'm never impressed with Sainsbury's doughnuts. Lidl's however.. Now we're talking
The Swansea branch does the best ones I've ever tasted. At the normal price they are a bargain.
lidl are def fantastic - very light but the jam lets them down slightly, bit appley rather than berry so waitrose bakery ones just edge it for me...

Not all our stores make them fresh, convenience stores and those without a full 'scratch bakery' come in frozen, we bake them for a few mins then sugar & pack.
Only supermarket still frying their donuts . Better not pop in or I'll eat five in the carpark.
the best supermarket doughnuts!
I think Sainsbury's donuts taste really greasy, are they made instore? Maybe I should try them from another store?
These are the best supermarket donuts imo
