Never paid more than £4 per kilo for pork.

Hot but £13???????? If anyone pays £13 for it they have no sense of value of money or they are in a rush
I think the OP is saying that the joint of pork is £6.98 not per kilo.
Tesco have it half price too.
Morrison's even cheaper.
I was putting this out at work last weekend. They are generally bigger than £6.98. The ones I were putting out were priced from £7 to about £9 I didn't see any smaller.

The nearest Morrisons is a good drive away but I keep seeing good deals posted for there
Did a nice sweet mustard pulled pork recipe from the BBC's food website, it was superb

Mmm love pulled pork!
Apologies that this is a little off-topic, but my fellow pulled pork lovers on here should try the food at Bodean's: bodeansbbq.com/
A friend of mine took a few of us there.
The pulled pork (indeed nearly all the food if you're a meat lover) is amazing

go to your local butchers and ask for a hand of pork then you will see value for money
approx £1:50 -£2per kilo.
i had a 3.5 kilo joint which cost under a fiver

The Sainsbury's leg joints are £3.49 a kilo, same offer price as Tesco.

Asda have them on offer @ £3.00 a kg, so not as good a price as Morrison's, but better than Tesco and Sainsbury's. Their quality is usually better than Tesco too (Sainsbury's quality is good too)

my mother always got good deals at our butcher but mine is a rip-off merchant ... i should really see if there's another butcher near by cuz you're right they normally have great offers you'd never see in store
Likely be Danish pork, Id rather buy from my butcher shop or Morrison & support UK farmers. Lower standards of animal care in Denmark compared to the UK.
