Sainsbury's Massive Stationary clearance £1.00

Be quick, but don't move!
What?
madmario22

What?

Stationary sales are ones that never move.
Stationery sales are those that may offer office supplies, writing implements, paper, glue, pencil cases, greeting cards, & related items.
Well I laughed lol heat added
Thx for the heat
E for envelope...
There's a shop by London Bridge that sells confectionary, maybe Sainsbury's do that too?
How do you get these bargains home?
What do you mean by home?
Well if they don't move getting them home would be tricky!
All looks normal size to me
madmario22

What do you mean by home?

A house, apartment, flat, bungalow, cottage, mansion, villa, shelter, or other usual residence, dwelling, or refuge of a person, family, or household where domestic affections are centred.

Perhaps you may find a dictionary in the stationery sale; not much of a story, but it explains every word as you go along.

I recommend the reduced items instead.
This is a funny thread!
Nothing to say that hasn't been said ...
So I think I'll go and do something useful instead.
When you say massive, just how massive?

Ever since Sainsburys put their stationary out for the back to school season, they have had them on what they claim to be a 'sale' price. When I looked at them on Thursday those 'sale' prices were just the same as the day they put them out.
Unless they've changed their pricing there's no saving here.
Thoughtful

Funny how so many people have made the point ITT about the correct spelling of stationery, yet some things seem to just go straight over some people's heads

I have just returned from my local Sainsbury's supermarket.

Yes, I have to concur (rather than conker, as it is almost the season for the seed of the horse-chestnut), the prices do not seem to be anything special; on a par with the normal (non-sale) prices at other supermarkets.
Just wanted to stop by in this thread
at these prices they won't stand still for long
It's probably stationary stationery
For those who need help remembering, stationERy is related to lettERs.
Why is this so popular
Because if they are trying to clear out the al the non-moving items, there could be bargains to be had.

It is a slow month for genuinely good "Deals".

Don't knock it... you may receive the "Heatwave" badge if this thread & some of the others you have listed are still active after thirty days.

Still getting used to these damned bifocals. Drives me nuts! But that's a typo from my slow keyboard, not illiteracy.

Oh I get what everyone is on about in my post. The title has stationary in it and it means not moving
Thx for all the heat

There is a lesson there for listing future "Deals", I think
They may have a stationary lightening deal in the future. X)

Removal of a few pages from each A4 pad would be illuminating.

Negative equity on a mortgaged property has that effect too.
Hi. My post got really hot
Just been to my local store and they are selling Uniball pens at great prices - 3 black ones for £1.39 and a mixed pack of 1x red, 2x blue, 2x black for £2.49. Brilliant price for what are great quality pens that normally retail for about £2 each.
Great
