I think the point is that you get two drink though..Most meal deals do not include two drinks!

Did I mention that it's all about Tesco Chicken and Sweetcorn Sandwiches for £1!

whats that about Tesco Chicken and Sweetcorn Sandwiches for £1 LOL

Or you can make your own sandwich for 50p, a packet from a multipack of crisps and a buy 2 bottles of coke for a £1. Cheaper. There you go.

Or, you could buy a bottle of squash that makes a hundred drinks, and a multipack of crisps for a few quid and make your own sandwiches with whatever filling you like, chicken, sweetcorn, tuna, salad, mayo, butter, ham, mustard, cheese, pickle..... and it would probably cost a lot less money, of course it costs more in convenience and the time it takes to make a sandwich, pack it, etc...
AND, why do these meal deals always include "crisps" instead of fruit???
Get some vitamins!

Could you make Chicken and Sweetcorn sandwiches for £1?

You obviously don't live/work in London

Sainsbury's sarnies are pretty bad, but the Taste the Difference ones are ok.

My time is worth more to me than the monetary saving.

Or you could grow potatoes, wheat, flour, etc in your back garden.

Then when the potatoes grow, you can cut them up and turn them into crisps and flavour them with herbs (surprising!). Once all the wheat and flour has grown, you can turn it into bread (yes, really!). If you fancy a drink you could borrow Daisy, a cow from a local farmer and milk it, or find a fast running water and dip your face into it (consult your local health and safety department before hand to obtain a "how to not die drinking from a river" guide). Now if you fancy butter with your bread, you could turn the milk from Daisy into butter (requires a lot of shaking, which I'm sure a you should be used to).

An alternative is that you could understand this is a "deals" website, not one for stupidly pathetically obvious suggestions.

PS: Make sure you feed Daisy afterwards. You wouldnt return a borrowed car without a full tank right?

Not all drinks are in the meal deal - there is a list of them advertised, but can't remember them. Pepsi works - used it last Friday.

Boots meal deals aren't £3 - £3.29 outside London.

Just tried this in Sainsburys in Birmingham...

Didnt work, unless I'm missing something.

Scanned through 2 bottles of pepsi, then a sandwich and a packet of crisps.

Pepsi was supposed to be 2 for 1, the sandwich & crisps were in the £3 meal deal...

It tried to charge me £5.18 for all items (seems like it charged me twice for the pepsi, even though it was supposed to be 2 for 1). So, didn't work for me, but potentially still worth giving a try. Use the self check-out scanners and if your total comes to more than the £3, just select to cancel an item and put back one of the bottles of drink.

Completely disagree, I think the Taste the Difference sandwiches are top notch and easily compare with the likes of Marks but perhaps not quite as good as Pret.

cant beat a Boots duck wrap with a raspberry mousse and drink I used to have that everytime i worked

You can choose fruit in the Sainsbury's meal deal, and you can opt for a fruit juice.

pret ones are another league.. those 1s are made on the same day and i would say are the best

Until Sunday I got a sainsburys meal deal every day with a bag of fruit. Now you can't have fruit and crisps are the only choice ! Now I go elsewhere

just bought crisps and a drink I didn't want because I felt I might miss out o but not doing the deal, but now where on display did it say for 3.00 = my 3 items COST 3.00 so got nothing! I fell taken advantage of as I was in a hurry in a petrol station and dint have time to think about it!
