I have not tried it, yet. But will do tomorrow morning. It was in another section with all the other Christmas things at reduced prices. The date on the tins are best before March 2021.
I bought it when it was about 1.25 previously. It’s ok. There was a bit of coffee grind residue at the bottom of my cup ... maybe shake the tub before you use it (that may help). Great price at 75p

That's because they add a small amount of very finely ground coffee beans, just like azera and other similar types.

I bought two tins. It beats Sainsbury's gold freeze dried coffee and doesn't strike me as tasting like Christmas in a cup

Yes, I think it’s 10% of the finely ground beans. I wasn’t too sure of the Christmas reference either. Wasn’t bad just wasn’t used to it. Good price too

I think Sainsbury's just dressed up their coffee tins for the Christmas period only and now selling them off at a very reduced price. The coffee itself is just the same, no other ingredients added for Christmas.

Strangely the packaging is rather similar to the original red bisto gravy granules tub ... bit confusing if you have them both on the table at the same time ;-)
