Not the most onerous requirement in the world if you pass Sainsburys every day, but worth knowing. Theoretically I won 500 points, but don't live near Sainsburys so it was never convenient to return to the shop to activate them. Still heat for making us all aware. Thanks.

You can do it on your way out of the store, just go to cs and they will add them to your card
Normally when I fill up my tank, I put £30- £40 of fuel in. Theoretically I can put 3x £10/11 in and get more points that way. I normally just pay at the pump so it'll just take longer than usual.

Thanks for the heads up 😘 When this is on I divide my shopping into £10 lots and pay separately. People behind me sometimes glare but I don’t acknowledge them!
Rather they ALL just ditched all these sucker promotions/gimmicks.... and just reduced their prices

What are 200 Nectar points worth in £'s?

Excellent
Do you need to sign in and accept the offer or is it just automatically done through your card?

What are 200 Nectar points worth in £'s?

If the maximum points you can win is 5000 which is up-to £25, I'm guessing 200 points is worth £1.

I won £25 the last 3 times
last time this offer was on, i didn't get anything even though i spent more than £10 twice.

Yup. One nectar point is half a penny. So multiply it up. 200 = £1.

Nectar points' devaluation (Google loyalty card comparison) plus Sainsbury's quietly ditching their price match policy have made me desert them for my main shop after twenty years. They seem to be stuck in a sub-Waitrose/M&S trap.

Last time this deal was on I spoke to the staff in the filling station. I'd put £10 in then wait while they reset the pump, put in another £10 then pay for both at the same time. Made my 6 fill ups into 3 trips to the kiosk. Not advisable at peak times though!
Am I right in thinking that you don't have to click to participate in this on the Nectar website (your offers) - only asking, as I can't see it on my account? Thank you.

No you don't have to activate anything just a standard promotion
Do you need to load it as an offer to your nectar card?

Wouldn't it be easier to pay at the pump? That's what I do now. Saves me from going in when I just pay it there and then.

I put £10 in on my way to work and won £10. I put £10 in on my way home from work and won £25!

In total we spent around £70 in blocks of £10 and won around £120 in points.

you do scan the voucher to add the points to your account

but the pumps don't print the vouchers nor do they scan them.
Great, thanks for the heads-up! At the promotion before last, I 'won' about 15,000 points!. Very useful when it came to the following "Double Up" offer

Oh ok. Got it now! Thanks.
Surprisingly won 2000 points last time. Will definitely be taking part again
Thanks OP for posting
Great news. £80ish weekly shop in batches of £10 and the same with two cars to fill up... hope you’re not behind me in the queue 😁😁

got over £300 in the double up before last Christmas because of this happening last year

Me too but with cat litter.

Obviously I wasn't filling the car up with it
Does the receipt say what you have won?
Thanks OP, I like this promotion thou it's nowhere near as generous in my opinion as it used to be.
Generally buy my fuel there when this is on promotion but that is usually 1-2p per litre more expensive than Morrisons anyway, still better off with this promotion especially if I get a decent points voucher.
Rarely buy much instore anymore as there prices are way to high compared to elsewhere , I do regularly buy there own brand filter coffee thou and this week that has increased in price by 30p , not sure how a 15% increase in one week is justified really.
