I prefer a number touch pad but still very good value.
Just ordered one - thanks,
Gail
Got one of these good microwave, even better half price.
Am I right in thinking that this is only stainless steel on the front panel? The sides and back look nasty. Still voting hot though, but I'm looking for a fully steel one on the cheap!

Yes only the front panel is stainless steel.
doesnt look like it's worth any more than 39.99
Child lock?

Is that so they can't get out until they're good n crispy?
I'd put £10 more and buy a reputable branded one istead of cheap supermarket model.(like praised Daewoo models for £50ish).
this for example which I've owned for 1.5 years:

oO good job this is only 40 quid then
I bought this one month ago and very happy with it!
Bought them a year ago for about the same price. No compalins at all.

Are you sure you want to buy a microwave without any compalins? The compalins are the things inside which heat the food. The fewer you have, the longer the cooking time. I bought a different mic. the other day with 20 compalins! It cost a fair bit more, but I was assured that even if 50% of my compalins stopped working after extended use (unlikely), I'd still have 10, and 10 is better than none!

Paid same price for mine last May,thought it had always been this price. Silly if it ever was £79.99.
Are they finished in stainless steel inside too? A lot of these microwaves skimp on the interior finishing and are prone to rusting.
I looked at one in store and they appear to have a blue painted interior. There was a sanyo microwave next to it that had an identical interior.
Ditto to some comments above...would like one that has stainless steel interior too
Price has risen to £49.99
£49.99 now
i just got one and its £39.99
