A nice trail trainer, GTX as well so fairly waterproof - from the company that work alongside parkrun. Say its a Black Friday deal so not sure how long it will be at this price.

Good choice of sizes left too, bright blue might put some off, but a bargain!

I know the Adidas / Nike brigade will probably say 'WHO?' but for the rest of us, good find & decent price. I like the colour!

my speedcross are bright green - Love em !

Nice, will make a change from my usual asics.

Decent price, probably due to the disgusting colourway.

Also, what's 'from the company that work alongside parkrun' got to do with anything?

Colour is pretty irrelevant seeing how they will be used

I do have a wide ape foot so unfortunately find Salomons too tight as a general rule.

I got the non-waterproof version of these about 2 years and been happy with them, might be showing my age but I remember when Salomon used to make some of the best roller blades about.

Salomon are owned by Adidas.
I had the speedcross 2 but they were just too heavy and hot. Great find op

Strange comment, I was just trying to say they are a company that yes make money from running, but also help - parkrun I believe is the biggest running event, and they do/did all the logistics of it for the milestone T shirts.

But thanks for the comment, maybe you need to go back to all of Mike Ashleys shops and support him.

Dont know why this site attracts such negative comments. However never seen the word colourway so thank you for that.

Quick google says they sold it in 2005 ? After owning for 7/8 years ?

Yes; Salomons are very narrow, or at least far too narrow for my hobbit feet.

I always struggle with trail shoes (I have 12.5, wide feet). I've been using New Balance 610v5 for a while now (a few pairs) purely because they're the only thing I can find that's long and wide. Kanadias - forget it!

Any pointers for wide fit?

Sounds like an odd one but I got a pair of Skecher Forza running shoes and they are wide - and the bonciest things I have ever strapped to my feet ! Really good road shoes - havent tried their trail shoes but they do do them.
