From this Thursday Lidl will be stocking Salt crystal lamps at £8.99
There is two style to pick from.
Some interesting health benefits that these are meant to have, but they look nice anyways .

Commonly reported health benefits of Himalayan salt lamps include:

  • Improving breathing problems and reducing allergies.
  • Less colds and flu (due to less airborne viruses).
  • Increased relaxation and calmness and less stress.
  • Improved ability to concentrate and work for longer periods around electrical equipment like computers.
  • Fewer headaches and migraines.
  • Reduced symptoms from disorders like rheumatism and arthritis.
  • An improvement in skin diseases.
  • Easier to get to sleep at night.
  • A better overall sense of health and wellbeing.

‘Reported health benefits’

They have snake oil on offer next week.
They look nice. A bit like the Shankra Stones from 'Temple of Doom'
These work wonders, my wife use to be a miserable old bat but when our new neighbour moved in he bought us one as a gift. he even comes round twice a week to top up the salt to keep it in working order which is nice as my wife can get a bit lonely well i'm at work. Needless to say her mood is much improved since us getting it.

I bought one of these when they were last on offer as the other half has a dust allergy. Solid product but the bulb went in around 15 mins So kept it as more of an "auniment" than a lamp

I've been collecting these in Assassin's Creed Origins this week... lol
'health benefits' haha, yeh next you'll tell me the bible is non fiction.
From someone who had a close relative who worked at source for decades, I personally wouldn't say they have health benefits.

The Bible is fiction you're quite right but a Muslim gent told me the Quran is true......
Might just be me but it looks like a large lump of ear wax, nice if you like that type of thing
As Freud once said " sometimes a cigar is just a cigar "
Can you lick it though?

It is true (I saw 'him' go up to heaven on a winged horse)
I have this and it's blown 2 bulbs within a month. i also had insomnia all the time it was switchd on! it's quite a weighty and well crafted item though!
Looks nice... I love Himalayan salt, however I do not believe it would produce any therapeutic benefits by using it as a lamp shade/filter!
It gives those of use who are interested in alternative health a bad name. You shouldn't make claims if not backed with credible evidence.

However as a lamp shade .. I'd give it a solid 10

Yeah. I saw him too. I was rowing up the Niagara falls in a canoe at the time.

Haha was just thinking it looks like father jack’s ear wax candle.
I got one of these for Xmas. Since then I've been able to breathe easily, my flu has gone, I'm feeling relaxed, calm and stress free. I've not had a headache since and I can concentrate around electrical equipment. My rheumatism, arthritis and Eczema have got better and I sleep much better at night. Overall my sense of health and well-being is much improved.

LOL very funny - it's more of a warm glow, it's not a huge high lumen LED! - I sleep ok with a lamp on which is brighter than this..

yep I know - my MIL bought us a couple of these years ago - she honestly thinks they have health benefits as she has no particular brain in that respect ie logic, evidence, scientific proof - but they do make great 'warm glow' night lights for younger kids

This made me laugh as it's obviously not the lamp that has cheered your wife up so much Love your sense of humour x
I went to my Lidl in Birmingham and could not find it. They never had them in as yet.
Good for cooking too
