6L might be small for a family of 4 - anyone who might have used a similar size can comment please? Thanks a lot.

The thing about airfryer .... The thing that annoys me... Is that they always show the basket piled high with food. And you just can't cook stuff like that, even if you shake it every 3 minutes. Maybe those ? Phillips? Ones that have a paddle can. So the bit that really matter is the size of the baskets footprint, and if it supports a shelf or tray to make another layer. The litre size is maybe important if you roast whole chickens daily.

I've got a 12l tower with three shelves and rotisserie. I'd still struggle to cook for 4 people at once.

The one above looks quite wide, which I reckon is a good thing.

Area does matter more than volume, as I’ve said several times before about airfryers!
This is kinda like the Ninja 301, but with the probe, a combo that Ninja don’t offer in the UK.
However I think Curry’s are wrong to label this EK4549model as “PRO”. That’s a different beastie! See below…

Both Salter and Ninja offer wider versions of their airfryer/grills that DO offer more area, though perhaps not more volume (leading to spatchcocked chickens...) My 551 Ninja Max has the probe, but oddly the Salter EK5106 Pro (£140 at Argos) seems to lack that feature of its little brother.
If this thing had been around before I got the 551, I could have been successfully tempted, though I do occasionally use the area of the 551 for gratinee dishes that simply wouldn’t fit in the smaller one.
It’s a decent deal - unless you really want the convenience of a drawer, ideally with an inner basket! (edited)
