looks the same as the one the nurse recommended me to buy from Asda for just £7.50 not so long ago.
£7.50 was the marked price not a special, or reduced or anything like that.
if you are worried about your bp go get it checked for free from somebody who knows what they are doing
You should always test it with the one at your GPs to see that it is working well. Unless you know how to measure it manually
Got the one from asda just as good less than half the price.
My arm is too skinny to fit an adults cuff. 17 years old and still need a child's cuff. I have low blood pressure and it's no good not being able to measure it at home
Omron has a version for their machines - have you tried searching for "small blood pressure cuff" on ebay or amazon?

I got one to about a year ago, always seems to be in adsa for £7.50
My dad bought one as a present and neither know how to use it. Manual pumps sound better because still alot of nurses prefer them

its pretty easy. short guide below but google for more tips/more detail

Make sure sure you are sitting down & relaxed; don't measure just after exercise nor ust after walking up the stairs
Put the cuff round the upper arm (most people use the left) so its snug. I place my left hand on a table and let my right arm rest by my side.
Press start.
Ideally take 2 readings but you need to leave say 5 minutes between them.

Measure your blood pressure at different times of the day; it naturally varies throughout the day.
Make sure you take your machine next time you see a GP and test its readings against the GP's. Mine matched the GP's.
Make a log of your readings and share them with your GP if you have any concerns. Your GP will ask you to do a 24 hr test if he/she is concerned but the GP will provide the special machine that does this.

I paid £1.77 for my Salter monitor in Asda. Its worth checking their pharmacy in your local store as there may still be some reduced which have been overlooked, as I was looking (in vain) in the medicines section of the main store, until I decided to check the pharmacy
