I own a set of these and they're great, although I use mine for weighing parcels for ebay.... Only down side is the batteries they come with only last a couple of months (takes 2 CR012 I think they;re called), but I bought 2 Energiser ones about a year ago and still going strong....

Paid £10 for mine at asda just over a year ago....

Hot price

I also have a set of these and also use them for weighing parcels - superb , cannot fault them at all.
theres just 2 buttons on the top to the right of the lcd screen , one is 'ON / ZERO' , the other is 'G / OZ' - really simple to use and great function to swap to g/oz at the touch of a button.
I got mine for in2thebasket from a deal on here a couple of months ago (hotukdeals.com/ite…ack) -- paid around £5.20 delivered after TCB ..... still good at £7.49 though and I'd happily pay that for them knowing how useful they are

you asked !

Fried Guinea Pig (Ayacucho-style)
CUY CHAQTADO

1 guinea pig, de-haired, gutted, and cleaned
1/2 c. flour
1/4 - 1/2 t. ground cumin
salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 c. oil
Pat dry the skin of the guinea pig and rub in the cumin, salt, and pepper. Preheat oil. Dust the carcass with the flour and place it on its back in the oil, turning to cook both sides. Alternately, the guinea pig can be cut and fried in quarters.
Serve with boiled potato or boiled manioc root, and a salad of cut tomatoes and slivered onions bathed in lime juice and a bit of salt. Have cold beer on hand.
