We had one of these, or similar. It was good initially and we enjoyed cooking on it.

Unfortunately, the hinge mechanism broke making it useless after a few uses.
I would suggest you get one with a solid metal construction so that it can be used more than half a dozen times.

It has the (non-adjustable) preset temperature control that it claims to have. Otherwise, even with its pathetic 750W output, it might indeed be a hot deal, in the literal sense.

It's tiny and plastic and under-powered and doesn't appear to have removable plates that will pop in the dishwasher. All enough reason not to buy one. "Blowing electricity circuits" is more likely to be a result of trying to wash the whole thing -there looks to be a small gap between plate and case where water could enter during enthusiastic cleaning.

is something very similar, with much the same "features" and price, but does at least fold flat.
It showing OOS now. I have one these and we use it occasionally, but it has never let us down so far in the 2 years we've had it!

We use it to for cooking lamb burgers and the results are amazing! It packs alot of power for a small thing!

Only down point as someone has mentioned is it doesn't have removable plates for cleaning, but as it's non-stick there usually isn't much to clean anyway, just needs a good wipe down!

My son has a bigger version. Totally recommended them.
But this one is small.
Reviews are really good apart from the odd few.
I have Silvercrest 2000W contact grill and it needs to have 3/4 power to get ready chicken with bones in 2-2.5 hours. Can't even imagine how long it can take on 700w...4 hours perhaps?

Lol easy done lol
I was looking at the ninja foodie with the grill but at £200 it’s pretty expensive. Can you cook steaks and lamb chops in this?
