Why isnt this advertised as being able to Cook meats, like burgers for example? Is there any reason why one should not Cook burgers on this?

Looking at the reviews, other people have done sausages and bacon on it. Maybe they don't advertise it as there's no where for fat to run off?

On a different topic, I had a similar one a while back as I wanted a sandwich maker that did waffles. I found the plates don't get hot enough for waffles and so you end up with limp waffles after a very long cooking time. (edited)

Waffle maker barely works, and when it does doesn’t come out nice and/or falls apart. Bought another machine and all good so it’s not recipe. I Don’t recommend.

Returned. waffles take absolutely ages to cook. Quality is below par, not worth it.

Buy it, eat nothing but paninis, waffles and toasties for a week, then put it in at the back of a cupboard to gather dust next to the air fryer and bread maker.

Whaaa? You don't use your air fryer regularly?

Been on the look out for a 3 in 1 toaster/waffle maker and I think this price is fairly consistent for the Salter.

Decided it was time to get one though, so thanks for posting (edited)

We have this one. Panini plates get used sometimes for making toasties, waffle plates have never been used and I'd use the toastie plates myself but the bread comes out very pale when it's done. Usually end up toasting the bread under the grill first

We have the Russell Hobbs version of this, identical other than the name. Very pleased so far, I use it a few times a month for cheese toasties and they're always delicious. Haven't used the other plates as yet though.
