I bought them the last time when they were on offer. I find them useless. Just a gimmick. An adjustable grind is there but doesn't matter how ever you adjust it, it always comes out coarse.

So they don't grind salt or pepper when you press the button?

You need batteries for that...

No I mean if they still grind salt or pepper at a press of the button they can't be useless. Maybe theirs were faulty

I found these electric grinders to be more hassle than what they are worth because of how many batteries they take (4 each). Also with one of them had to regularly keep refitting the battery again as it would slip out slightly and lose connection.
no good and they take up so much space with so little content only the glass portion contains the salt or pepper, if you do use them you'll be constantly refilling them. Save your money IMHO.
8 batteries
Wait!..... You mean you had to twist them...... by hand?....... Are you joking?..... Next you'll be telling me you had to cut the food up yourself!
Can they be used to grind coffee?
Ta for the opinions.. I've given them a miss. No. Of batteries and the constant refilling aspect have put me off. Will stick to the one fashioned manual ones in the cupboard already then...

Yes they do, but they don't do the good job.
