LOL, heat. Put these in my basket about 15 mins ago and then deleted it. Decided I didn't want batteries and my hands were perfectly capable of turning a manual mill. Came here and have an Amazon notification. I feel taunted!
Good if you are elderly or have reduced mobility and can't twist the manual ones.
Wonder what will happen if i use it with ni-zn batteries.
Still looking for a set with a built in FM/AM radio, or Bluetooth.

Electronic grinding and illumination, just 2010.

FM/AM radio is so 2011. I’d be looking for ones with built in DAB, it’ll be worth paying the extra £2
Got an identical set from Von Chef earlier this week for £9.99
I’ve got these and love them! I’ve probably changed the pepper grinder’s batteries once in the 6 months I’ve had them for.

There’s a lifetime guarantee from Salter on the grinding mechanism - not sure how they would honour this but good to have
Picked some of these up in Asda reduced to a fiver for the set. I put them back though as for the size of the unit, the weight and then looking at the amount of actual pepper/salt these hold compared to the size of the unit I decided against the purchase. Most likeley use would be for someone with dexterity problems, for everyone else just buy a normal mill.
Back up now.
