My mum picked a couple of these up in store for a fiver each, checked online and they are £20 currently at Amazon, RRP is £34.99.

Asda sold them for £10 usually but half price, not sure if nationwide but it was standard shelf ticket so probably. They look pretty decent and for a fiver are a bargain, can't even get bog standard scales for that I'd guess.

Will post receipt in comments, no flaming about BMI please

I use these and they're great. Mine are a different colour, but still the 9141. Very accurate, but the batteries (CR2032's) don't last that long.

I only weigh myself though as (a biologist) I find the extra features (BMI, BF% etc) to be pretty worthless.

still £20 on asda website - you got yourself a bargain !

Fantastic scales, really accurate. I paid £11 a few months ago when they were on this site and I thought they were a bargain then. I would grab them for this price

£10 in Asda nottingham.

£10 in Asda Hyde I did still buy them :).

heat added

I forgot to pick up the toilet roll for when i weight my self.

No way which asda

My Asda were selling them 10 pound today, well worth it!!!

Good deal even at a tenner if you get them

Does "fat analyser" mean they speak ? ....."get off you fat b*stard

Bought this a few days ago from Amazon, it's pretty accurate, and Fat analyser is pretty accurate as well, I measured myself on this and got a reading of 9.9% bf, I've also taken a reading with a bf calliper and got 9% on that

£10 in asda Crawley

Ill pick one up tomorrow hopefully, Id be happy to pay £10 if the offer isn't on in my store

How do they measure body fat ????

How do they measure body fat ????

When you stand on them, a probe, with 2 fingers attached makes its way towards your love handle area and gives it a tiny pinch then reports how lardy you are on the screen !

haha, or positive incurragement to lose or gain weight, theres probably scales that do that already or show your goals etc

Good price for some scales but I have a feeling anything that claims to know how much fat or water you have in your body by your feet is **** !:{

I paid £20 for these. All the other functions are pointless.

Hot!

totally, mine went bust under a year. Asda only covers product for 28 days.

are you sure you did'nt buy the compact one? as they are usually £10.

£10 in superstore Sheffield.

not great show me as 23% body fat compared to my tanita scales which show me as 13% and I am not 23% body fat full stop!

it actually sends an electric impulse through your body (metal plates on it) and times how long does it take to travel - that's how it can measure the average water in your body.

its pretty decent for this price, I bought it for 10 quid before. it also comes with 10 years warranty

Good scales. The body fat % calculator is way off but it is consistent so you know if its going down you're progressing.

I have this, they seem to over estimate compared to other scales, calipers and the mirror.

It's no different to doing it by hands or any other part of your body - it's called Bioelectric Impedance Analysis and it's just as inaccurate on any part of your body. It's a general indicator and nothing more.

brilliant price. even scales which just give you your weight are more than a fiver!!!!

If you're out of luck at Asda, Wilko have some that monitor up to 10 people, max weight 23 stone 8lb though - wilko.com/bat…les £15.00

great news, I bought these and was wondering where the extra 5% fat I'd gained was. overestimation will just encourage me to work harder I guess, achieve my goal on the scales and my actual body fat will be negligible.

I got these for 5 thank you

£10 seems to be the nationwide price. It was showing up as £20 on the shelf in East London but scanned through @ £10 so make sure you get it SCANNED before giving up/leaving the store!

Heat added as I'd been looking for one to replace an identical one my dad took from me 2 weeks ago.

£1.75 for 3 batteries, delivered, you can't go wrong with that!!

I purchased these scales from ASDA, Chatham, Kent. They had only 1 left in stock though when I picked these up! £10 though...still great for a tenner!
