I have these. Decent scales but pretty much broken now. Also have:

argos.co.uk/pro…221

The amazon ones are up to 5KG rather than 3KG.

The amazon ones go negative..i.e. if you put on 100g of flour and reset to 0, when you remove the flour the weight is negative....

If the above don't matter to you, argos scales might be just as good....(except the surface scratches!).

Lol. So the Argos ones are cheaper by £1.99, but have less functionality, a lower weight capacity and also scratch more ?

From that, I’d recommend the extra £1.99 spend.
We have these. Poor quality I'd say

When was the last time you needed more than 3KG to make a cake???

When was the last time you needed to use weigh negatively???

The £7 scales "look" better...at least initially...
Great scale I have this and it's spot on

Maybe just unlucky?

They have over 3200 reviews with 89% above 4stars.

Yep, dunno what he's talking about, I have these exact scales and they're great, far better than any I've had before, and they haven't started to lose accuracy in the 2 or 3 years we've had them with very frequent use. As another user said they go up to 5kg and also go negative. They entire top layer is the scale, not just the silver bit, so you can put pretty much anything on them, fantastic scales!
Have these scales and very pleased with them

Maybe so. Just frustrating the on/off buttom and the zero button are the same, so you have to press and hold to reset (to turn off and on again) and seems to show an error code "Unset" or something reasonably frequently. I'd say maybe more the user design than quality but I think the plastic is pretty cheap too. They work/ haven't broken still just given how easy the job they have to do is, always seems a faff.

Sorry I seem to have hurt peoples' feelings .
