I've had a set of these for 7 years and they've worked great. Well up until a few days ago when our skylight decided to leak directly onto them when we were out all day - dead now.

So good timing for this Black Friday deal to pop up - they were £12 literally 15 mins ago.
If anyone spots a Black Friday deal on a new Velux window, let me know

Only paid £7.48 for these two months ago from Amazon. Hate it when BF deals are worse than normal deals

That's Amazon for you though, their prices are like a yoyo, but you gotta take your chances

Just annoying when companys offer these BF deals and if you look back a few months they were the same price then.
I wasn't knocking you or your deal by the way just Amazon lol.
These scales are brilliant and used every single day for weighing my food. No idea why I never bought some sooner.

Unbelievable needed this YESTERDAY.. had to purchase it Tuesday for £14, reckon they will refund the difference without me sending it back?

Nope. But it's certainly worth a try.

These are pretty decent. We have a set that was put through a dishwasher cycle and they survived (once dried out with the battery removed) and still work fine to this day - I use them for parcel weighing now.

I bought these last year and they always say unstable when placed on my workshops (yes they are level) threw them away in the end.

I've had these scales twice before now and they just don't last. And if you ever come to claim under their 15 year warranty, make sure that you keep the original purchase receipt. I kept mine in a ziplock bak taped to the underside of the scales themselves.

Ordered and heat added. Thanks OP.

They have really tightened up on refunding the difference and chatting to them courteously ( is there any other way?) seems to work.

I bought one of these from Waitrose on sale not too long ago and returned it immediately because there seemed to be something wrong with what it was displaying and when you put a bowl on it that is quite wide, the bowl covers up the display which I knew would be annoying for me. I think it's the same one I remember.

Worked a treat! New one ordered, as soon as it comes on Monday its going back (as the original)... don’t know why they couldn’t just refund the difference
