It was but it has not been at this price for some time and it is the cheapest price around by some margin

I bought this and had to give it back, the display is impossible to read, don't be fooled by the picture. It has the same type of display that you find on calculators but inverted. The icons on the display are so small you need to get down to see them.

You get a 64Mb usb memory stick which is used to transfer your data from the scale to your PC so you can keep track of your results over time. You have to download the software from Salters website. The software works with Windows XP only and looks like it was written for Windows 95.

The scale uses 6 AA batteries.

I wouldn't pay £20 for this scale!

There are a couple of negative comments but there are 88 reviews in total - many of them very positive. I guess you make your choice. If you want to purchase this particular set of scales it is the best price I can find.
