Amazon says I purchased this on 01 May 2014, for £13. Still going strong and very accurate. Used almost daily, sometimes multiple times. I've had to replace a few button cells in that time though it does get used for everything from ebay items to dog food and lasts a very long time.

IMO worth finding one that takes normal batteries so you have a chance of finding replacements when it dies halfway through making a cake. Good deal if you are organised enough to keep spares I guess.
I've had this set of scales for about 4 years, I only recently(ish) had to change the battery and they're spot on, I'd definitely recommend them
Had this setup in 3 camels, got an alert before it was posted here
The other salter scales look like junk, this one with the 2 part base seems decent. Will see...
Got these the last time they were a tenner. excellent for the price!
Does this turn on instantly or is there a few secs delay whilst it calibrates?
