Had one of these. Nothing wrong with it except I found the temperature differential too much always up and down. You set it at say 20 degrees, temperature will drop to 19.5 before it asks for heat. It then goes up to 20.5 before it cuts off, radiators red hot so temperature still rising...it then drops away to 19.5 before asking for heat again. Its not the end of the world, but you can get some that control to a finer level e.g. tenths of a degree

Hate it, takes a while for the signal to go to the boiler and can hear an audible buzz when doing so.

Really long winded to programme different timings etc

Needs to be moved to Deals section.

Personally I would pay the extra and get the RF version. Tring to wire this into a boiler and locate the stat can sometimes be problematic. Just saying

Had one of these before, they are cheap but a bit of a pain programming and mine packed up after a month, salus did send a free replacement though. Wireless thermostats can be a bit temperamental but cheaper to install, one negative with my salus was it would need reprogramming when you changed the batteries. If you have a mechanical timer fitted you can just swap it out with this version:

If you can spend a bit more then a smart thermostat is handy, it is possible using sonoff devices on the cheap if you know what you are doing, and has the benefit of being controlled by Alexa or smartphone.

Why is this Deal showing up in the Freebies section?.

Can't be helped that is normal, the way thermostats trip on and off.
