Heat added - Next month time to update my full 32Gb drive, this month bought a WD 1TB back up drive for £40 from PCWorld, really only want to spend £20 for 128GB thumb drive.

Heatsink for some memory chip? I am a bit sceptical about the fire claim aswell, surely most USB sockets these days will have current sense and shutdown mechanism . I have not use any of this, so can't comment how hot it could be though.
