Oh great! I only just bought it last week! Thanks for getting back!
States it can be used in Smart TVs but I can’t find anywhere on my Samsung Smart TV if it has a limit, bought it few years back. Maybe I’ll risk it for a biscuit

You should be fine. 128GB works in my 7 year old digihome TV.
Got one of these for my Nvidia Shield for extra storage never had a problem with it in the 2 years since I got it.
Out of stock now
From the spec (on their site), read for usb 3.1 300MB, the write speed is lower than the read. Useful...

Bought one from Amazon, delivered today for around £23. Sequential read speed just over 300MB/sec, write speed 55MB/sec according to CrystalDiskMark. Double the speed of the eMMC in my tiny GeoBook 1M (15MB/sec for 4K files too, also a 2 x improvement).

Flashed the drive as a bootable Windows to Go drive and it’s definitely quicker than the naff on board storage in practice too
Just got an email saying it's back in stock.

Kingston drives are usually slow as molasses. That drive is ok if you aren't concerned about speed.
Anyone know if this will work on Toshiba tv ? I’ve never used one before
I've had one of these plugged into the back of my nvidia shield TV box for about 18 months now and formatted as adoptable storage so I'm not limited to the 16gb drive that comes with the box as standard and essentially turns it into a 140gb box. I don't play a lot of games on it but do watch 4k vids quite often and they play fine when the system puts them on the USB. The games I have tried don't run any different either. Tbh I forget it's there most of the time and have never removed it from the shied since I first stuck it in the back of it all that time ago so I'd recommend it especially if you want to use it the way i have & never need to remove it again. I was going to buy cheaper but definitely glad i didn't. Its still going strong and the size is ideal for my purpose - to plug in and forget about it and its as good as invisible its so small. Good find!

Write speeds are always slower than read...?
I don't understand why manufacturers don't come out with the same thing but in USB-c thunderbolt. It's nearly impossible to find a small sized USB c flash

Yeh, but if you specify a read speed can't you also be a bit more specific with the write speed?
Thanks for posting, we have added this to the Highlights pages
I’m worried that mine might be a dud. I’m getting under 50MB/s write speeds when connected to a PC USB 3.0 port. What speeds are others getting with this drive?
