great speed, no heat issues in Amazon reviews like sandisk

awesome just what I'm after

I have a 16GB Nvidia Shield TV and I'm looking to increase the memory. Would this do the job?
I've tried other USB and sdcards and my Shield says that they are too slow and doesn't recommend moving my data over to them.

Hot and just ordered.

Lucky enough to get a few of these, on amazon for £18 a few months a go. No issues to report so far.

I have a 80mbps SanDisk micro Sd in mine, in fact I did this yesterday and it moved everything no problem

I would imagine that would be better than using your precious usb slots

Question though.... how do you guys store these drives? I mean I would be scared of losing them!

Due to their small profile, I leave mine plugged in. Of course, this would be a problem if you have a small device with a limited number of USB ports.

I got mine before Christmas, very very pleased with heat/speed/size. I bought a pills box for the key ring, that way is better protected and I won't loose it.

Wow.... Got 2 x 32gb SanDisk and they do get HOT
They were about a tenner each as well so this is so much better...... But I don't need it, I have no requirements for it

Bought!..... cheers op

Anyone want to buy a bargain 32gb?

Got one in a TV with fave series/films and very handy as a backup in case stuff dies or loss signal etc.

I didn't have a burning need for this. Now my account is down 44 quid!

I have the 32GB version of this and it is very fast and pretty cheap considering. It's survived a trip through the washing machine a few times by accident due to it's size! It does get pretty warm on the metal when transferring files but nothing to worry about it soon cools down.

same price on amazon now.

Samsung memory bar is similar price, even faster. Both good value.

Amazon only gets it in stock on 12th September
and the Samsung Bar is £23.99
Thanks though

The one you saw was USB2.0

Excellent, just what I need for my macbook air. I have windows, osX and bluestacks so the paltry 128gb is filling up fast.

I bought one and it gets very hot very quickly.

You should be able to find a split ring small enough to add to your key chain.. https://i.imgur.com/exLgS8c.jpg

Nice, but I would be wary of losing the drive (and data) should the plastic part break.

Assuming good for use in a Nintendo Wii U for storage of game updates and all that stuff ?

Amazon not in stock for this but they do have the Lexar 128gb USB 3 version for £20.99 in stock and available next day on Prime

its exactly the one I've been using in mine for about six months now. just make sure it goes in the top slot in the back. it kept having issues in the bottom one. works perfectly now.

have one of these great devices.. will probably order another for daughters xmas PC as will be getting a low hard disk one and this can be plugged in all time like mines is.

My daughter has a bunch of phone charms from when they were a thing, so I hang one of those off each, makes them look cute too!

This any good as expandable storage capacity in a WiiU?

Is it worth using in an Xbox 360 for the Gold games? (obviously would drop to USB 2.0 speed)

I use a hobby craft box, lots of different compartments that I got from QD!

Probably a really naive\silly question...but... I just want some external disk space to store music\photos so that my laptop has more free space. Would you recommend this for that purpose?

(My current external HD is having issues and I need to move the data onto something more reliable)

I wouldn't class any usb flash drive as a reliable storage. I've had too many of them just stop working or corrupted in the past. If you want to move data from a laptop I would suggest a conventional hard drive (not solid state) i.e. the one with discs in & choose a good quality make drive (I've always preferred Seagate for reliability).

A lot of people would disagree with you on the point that choose Seagate over other brands based on reliability.

It is not a brand excel in reliability.

Does anyone know if this will work in an LG tv for recording? The LG's are a bit temperamental
