would have been great if it was the usb3.0 version selling at this price...
With the floods in Thailand I'm surprised this hasn't skyrocketed.

EDIT: It's just gone up to £89.98. Thought it'd happen.

the code stopped then?
I suggest to stop buying drives at all, after my experience with staples HP 500GB and PC world Hitachi 1GB I'm giving up.

No, the OP didn't have the code in a prominent enough place but it still works.
Just been reading the Amazon reviews, there seems to be a high failure rate on these.
Anybody know what the drive inside is, could do with an internal for a laptop?
I'm not 100% sure but all Samsung drives are soldered onto a board and therefore not suitable for removal (500gb + 750gb definately). Unless someone can confirm otherwise, it's probably the same for the 1tb drive.
I bought USB 3 version for around 60-70 few months ago.

Where?
is this still wotking?

Many places have had 1TB drives for less than £60. If you google hard drive production, you will see because of issues, all prices have gone up.

Not at bad price at the moment, but I would leave it till the new year if you can.

I personally managed to pick up a Western digital one for £45 around 3 months back. A very happy investment for me. Just wish they'd come down in price again now!

think stubeauty was asking about USB3.0 1TB at that price,, not just because it was 1TB

BT and DABS are made for each other. Both very poor customer service and lots of manual workarounds and waiting for things to happen.

Cold from me. A good price if it was from a decent supplier.
Received mine this morning and I have to say it's a cracking little drive at a really great price. Thanks OP!!!
