i have the one without, same as the tv pebble, without the tv features (just DVI and VGA inputs)
sorry for the basic explanation, hope it helps!

I'd rahter buy a tv without less to go wrong.

Can anyone confirm whether this will come with a 3 or 1 year warranty?

I brought on a few months ago for £127 and it's an amazing monitor for the price, even when gaming (TombRaider,NFS,Grid) It took a little time to set up to my taste but after that it looks nice. and most importantly NO ghosting as it's 2ms and has an RTA (Response Time Accelerator)

Extremely hot! http://diywedding.co.cc/smiley5.jpg In for one!

The TV will be 16:9, the monitor 16:10

Hi all

Please could you tell me what the best way to connect my xbox 360 would be to this monitor.

Thanks in advance.

I take this is the same monitor as the ebuyer deal on this ]Ebuyer £116? link so it is even cheaper but one thing I am not sure about is the power consumption of these monitors.

Do any of you think 50w, in operation, is a bit of excessive usage or is it the norm with these monitors?

If you have standard light bulbs in the computer room you're probably already using at least this much just to see by.

I do but I try not to use them  I have checked the power consumption of other monitors some 40w, some up to 75w! so I guess 50w is sort of acceptable or average?

Electricity is billed in kilowatt hours (units), so 1000 watts for 1 hour - costing somewhere round 10p-20p - with this 50w monitor you get 20 hours of use per unit, which I calculated as about 0.5-1p an hour. If money's tight enough that the 25w either way is a problem, you should probably not buy this monitor!

bobby thanks for the extensive breakdown of cost  but I was more worried about the environmental cost than electricity bill, having said that, my current monitor is probably less environmental friendly than this monitor!

I guess we have been brainwashed with this environmental issues

Damn, serves me right for waiting so long... I finally decided I was going to buy this, and it's now showing as £123.35.

is this much better than the phillips for £85 from cdiscount?

This one had a better contrast ratio and faster response time

Unexpire!

It was expired because the price went up.

Now, a month later it's reduced again and someone else has posted it. So because of this you want yours unexpired?

Yoiur deal ended, a new same price deal has started. Get over it
