This TV is full HD with USB, 2 HDMI, built in subwoofer and only £15 more than this. I managed to actually get it for £140 so £60 cheaper but i think its better than the TV posted for only £15 more.

You can either have LCD or LED you cant have both, being 18.9cm deep must be LCD. you would expect an LED backlit to be around 3 to 7 cm deep and an LED to be 2cm or less in depth.

Actually all LED TVs are in fact LCD tv's, so not only can you have both but if you want LED you HAVE to have both.

Good price.

Recentry bought a 32" for £470 (+£50 cashback).

All LED tvs are LCD tvs. Check before you comment, genius

LED just refers to the backlighting. The only question would be whether it's edge or backlit.

The term Full LED usually refers to a complete matrix of LED lighting mounted at the rear. The display of colours is still via polarisation filters of an LCD screen. The advantage of a full matrix is that lighting is more even (because edge lit LED lighting requires diffusion of the light to produce uniform lighting) and the other big advantage of rear mounting is local dimming to allow for better quality of blacks. The end result is that an LCD panel is still required for the colour representation.

You are actually partially correct in your original statement. When referring to Organic LED, there is NO backlight and the panel itself consists of LEDs that are self-lighting via an electrical current. Hence there is no LCD screen but there is LED lighting, although the LED lighting does not serve as a backlighter.

I'm not sure why you mentioned DLPs though and why they are relevant to the argument? Edit: I see, you are referring to projection of LED lighting in reply to a prior comment.

You'll find that although it refers to the depth as being 18.9cm, this will be inclusive of the stand. Most manufacturers do this for some reason, then further down there will be the depth without stand. 18.9cm is still pretty deep for a standard LCD if it was just the screen, especially for a 22" display panel!!

DLP is a projection technology, I suppose if you had a DLP rear projection TV that used LEDs as their light source this might possibly be true. But I very much doubt that would be referred to as an LED TV.

"TRUE FULL LED", do you know what an LED is? An LED is a diode that emits light when you run electricity through it, that's all it is. It's not a kind of TV.

I can't believe you said do your research after spouting that pile of drivel.
