I ordered this on Sunday night (for £219.99!!) and it arrived today. I know some people have had problems with Dixons, but this is the second time I have used them recently, and their delivery has been super quick each time! TV has 2xHDMI ports, and is full 1080p HD. Good for a bedroom or office.

Don't forget 3% cashback at TopCashback!

The Samsung 2333HD 23" Widescreen LCD Monitor with Digital TV Tuner is stylishly designed, with a curvaceous, piano black finish and champagne bubble pattern at the rear.

However, the Samsung 2333HD Widescreen LCD Monitor has much more to offer aside from its looks, including an impressive Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution for striking picture and image quality.

The built-in DTV Tuner gives you access to digital channels and for even more entertainment choice you can connect your HD devices via the two HDMI connectors. Hook up your HD camcorders, Blu-ray players, and game consoles for the most luxurious High Definition viewing experience.

impressive in terms of value, i paid that for my 19" sony bravia (Which I love though!)

Asda were selling the 24" version for £200, although they've been out of stock on my last few visits. I bought one when they were £278 about 6 months back, but returned it as the volume level was absolutely dire. I've checked a few other Samsung small screen TVs since - and they're all the same. I've got a 32" Samsung as my main TV and the volume on that is fine @ 2x10W.

All I'd say is if you want to use this primarily as a TV, and not a monitor, be prepared to sit right next to it - and even on 100% volume it won't be that loud.

I was disappointed because the sound on this TV ruins an otherwise excellent product.

I know this is 23", but recently there was a deal in ASDA stores for Samsung T240HD for £200.
Only lucky few got, I could not get one!:-(

Can any one tell me which one is better?

Cheers!

Personally I prefer the T240HD, but it kind of depends what your main usage is. If it's mostly a TV, this arguably this is fine, it's 16:9 aspect ratio and full 1080p. If you need any serious monitor usage, then the 16:10 aspect ratio of the T240HD and the extra resolution (it's 1920x1200) makes it (imho) a better choice. Personally I don't really like working on 16:9 ratio monitors, they feel all kind of long and frustratingly not tall enough. Short of a bargainous ASDA deal though.. they are more expensive.

can this be unexpired? still showing at £214.99 and in stock

My Father-In-Law has recently brought one of these and wall mounted it. He can't however get the original stand body to unclip from the TV now it's on the wall. I've had a look at the TV and it looks just like it's on two plastic clips, but I can't remove it either. It there a way of doing this? It doesn't even tell you how to do it in the manual! Thanks

I removed mine from a 19" As far as I remember there are 2 machine screws to be removed from the metal slides which go into the body of the tv, then it slides out. I think I removed the whole plastic back to get access but it was easy whatever.

Second thoughts - I think after I removed the entire back, I found that it was unnecessary and that it comes out after the machine screws are removed - I just hadn't tugged hard enough! It was at least a year ago so a bit hazy but was a simple job anyway. Good luck.

For those buying as a computer monitor though be warned it's fine in native apparantly (i.e. 1920x1080 pixels) but doesn't scale down to smaller resolutions very well.
If you're buying as a 1080p playback only TV / Media PC screen though it sounds pretty decent.
Now can someone give me any tips on locating a SM2494HS (or HM) for less than Pixmania's £185 + Del ? Would have liked the F2380 but god knows when it'll actually reach our shores..

does anyone know if its 1 or 3 years manu warranty as other sites state 3 years but dixons dont mention either.,

thanks
