NOT MUCH !!!
coming down.... seen it recently for gbp134
Still a long way to go before price is sane though
Bought the 128gb version for £22.76 17 months ago so needs to be around £50 to £60 pound mark before I buy.

Yes, you bought 128gb at 22.76 but was out of stock at Amazon for most of the time, so kind of luck... remember you posting that deal. Be realistic - we have 2017 year and much higher prices than last year... also don't forget that this 256gb version is U3 certified with much higher write speed than card you mentioned

Although OOS, they did eventually shipped to everyone who ordered. Had to wait around two/three weeks. (see post #68 onwards)

It was price error which Amazon fortunately honoured... just check camelcamel for price history - shows £35 as lowest and £42 average... not so great then for U1 card
As it stands from a 5-min search, it does appear to be the cheapest, so hot in this aspect, but you've really got to want a 256gb Micro SD card to spend upwards of £90.
I'm a sucker I know, but ...
I'll post the performance and capacity data here when it arrives for those who might be interested when the price goes down, if ever.
Thanks OP; just ordered at 23:30.

Delay in posting due to our lazy postman, who failed to press the bell Saturday morning.
Postman delivered two letters + collection-card instead of three packages.
Two of the three packages were letter box deliverable.
This micro-sd envelope and a slim pasta recipe paper back.
Had to drive three plus miles to collect today, Monday.
What if I had been going away Sunday?
Noted that on Royal Mail complaint website, "Failed to ring bell" is top of the complaints drop down list!
End of whinge;
Samsung EVO 256GB microSD card.
Left to right, top to bottom:
1: Atto Disk Benchmark - Samsung EVO Plus is faster than my 64GB Sandisk Extreme.
2: H2testw report.
3: Properties before H2testw files deleted
4: Properties after H2testw files deleted

MicroSD delivered pre-formatted exFAT
I now have a 256GB microSD card in the Slot of my 256GB SSD i7-6567U Lenovo 510S.
Great, thanks pavel76
