Mediocre because only 16:9 - 2560x1440.

Would be on fire if it were 21:9 - 3440x1440

How are Amazon with returns if your reason is just "I don't like it"? Do you have to pay postage back?

They are outstanding with returns, you always choose the option of the product is not fit for purpose or has a defect with it. Then they will give you multiple options to return the product at the cost of £0.00; the refund should be applied within 5 business days
Or for example, a £420 gaming monitor with no plain outer packaging goes "missing" in the Hermes network. Then you have to wait 14 days more before Amazon can initiate a lost parcel ticket and finally refund you your money for a monitor you don't have.

In some roundabout way I guess Amazon were okay. Frustrating when you need the cash for another monitor though.

Amazon have started crackdown on people who return just like that these days. Some of my friends have got warnings for returning stuff without defects as it passed QA on their end. Also when you send with a defect you have to mention what the defect is and if it doesnt manifest you may be in trouble.

Previously it was no issue but returns are more monitored these days.

So just know what you are ordering and do some research before clicking that buy button. If it is defective definitely return it. It costs money and carbon waste for the environment to ship a item.

same for 4k …same for 4k https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-32-inch-ultra-hd-4k-3840-x-2160-led-monitor-black-24999-at-amazon-prime-day-3263385

Some people are looking for 144hz which makes a big difference for user experience.
Why are all these monitors curved? Such a shame.

I still believe there are two approaches to it:
- If you are uncomfortable returning as defective item, you can always send as "you have changed your mind", this means you will pay for return shipping, but you can get a piece of mind from it.
- However, if you choose the method I mentioned before, you want to make sure you have returned more than 3 items in the past, or they will have someone to review your case and the product. Furthermore, you can always try to pick an excuse that can applicable to any product, for example; the monitor overheats and shuts off, or there are white tints on a black screen (which most monitors in today's standards have). I have never had any problems with Amazon before, so I assume I am doing things right
