Using this monitor as we speak, also purchased the 43" at launch with a good Samsung discount and cashback.

It works brilliantly as a home multi user setup, for 3 of at home, we use one fixed HDMI and USB C for laptops, Chromebook, Samsung tablets and Samsung mobiles with DEX.

For mid sized laptops it delivers enough power, but for my mobile workstation I do need to power it also, really clear the cable spaghetti.
I also added a USB hub for a shared mous, keyboard and headphones

Never used it as a TV, but was hoping to work on it and watch TV at the same time (split or PIP) but doesn't work that way.

I can Airplay 2 from my iPad, other Android devices like the Chromebook just on the monitor.
With Samsung tablets and mobiles 2020 onwards you get Dex which seemed annoying but is superb.

I can use my Fold3 for all my work and everything on my mobile, only certain things need a proper laptop.

I ditched this as a monitor because it has no height adjustment on the stand.

Can you just download excel etc on it and work of it. Or would you still need to buy a laptop for it

You can use Excel directly on the monitor but it isn't very good.
It may be just enough if you don't already have a computer however.

You can connect a bluetooth mouse & keyboard, then log into Microsoft 365 - but it's basically just a link to office.com & runs as a web app in a browser.

I'm looking for something like this in 4k for the kitchen. Will double add a desktop monitor for office activities.

Might be worth waiting for the M70 to come on offer again. I got in beginning of year for £130 ish from Samsung with all the crazy cashbacks.

Cold from me £20 cheaper direct from Samsung as per details below, has been a lot cheaper in past with free headphones, or mouse and keyboard etc

Just a couple of observations about the screenshot you have provided :
Shows out of stock which also seems to be the case today on the Samsung website. Furthermore there is no 10% discount coupon to be seen and the Samsung website leads to Amazon as their online. selling agent. (edited)
