I know this isnt the easiest to find deal but I have seen a lot of people post to Makro deals and this TV is a cracker. Next best price I found was Richard Sounds for £299.95.

Description:
Why buy a 32" LCD TV by a brand you've never heard of when you can get the Samsung LE32b350 for around the same price?

At the heart of this 2009 Samsung 32" LCD TV is Samsung's Wide Colour Enhancer 2 engine. This unique Samsung system offers far more natural and convincing colours by strengthening the red, green and blues. A high contrast ratio also gives the LE32b350 excellent depth of image with subtle shading. In short, the difference in picture quality between it and no-name TVs is the difference between night and day.

Although we'd always recommend a separate home cinema system, the Samsung's built-in SRS Tru-Surround HD system gives a useful boost to audio performance. With indirect firing technology the speakers create a spacious sound that's complemented by the SRS Tru-Surround system.

Twin rear-mounted HDMI sockets allow for the connection of 2 High Definition sources, such as an HD-TV box and Blu-ray player. In addition to this, the LE32b350 boasts SCART and component connections for your analogue sources. Furthermore, the PC input makes this attractive TV the perfect complement to your home computer - especially when used in conjunction with the Samsung's special Game Mode. Topping off the wide range of sockets is a digital optical sound output - ideal for connecting this Samsung 32" LCD TV to your home cinema for a useful upgrade in sound quality.

Richers Sounds sounds better, as Makro is for trade account business customers only

Yet only if I'm authorised to buy on behalf of a business or self-employed?

To be honest I dont know nowerdays, as i said if you can get in and buy anything this is available to you.

I saw Makro deals are used on here so thought it might be of use to some people, but i can understand fustration if you cant get in.

End of the day i thought it looks a good deal, cheapest that can be found for it anywhere so thought id share and hopefully help at least a few people.

Is that the price as printed in the brochure as it's VAT on top if it is? Making it more expensive then the Richer one!

Plus the warranty is refundable at Richer Sounds if not used, worth bearing in mind.

Where does it say that?

This is all I could find.......

5 Year TV GuaranteeRicher Sounds is offering on all plasmas and LCDs a comprehensive at home warranty at only 10% of the product purchase price. With all LCD and plasma TVs the warranty is for 5 years.
This page is intended to demonstrate the incredible value of our 5 Year TV Guarantee. Under recent legislation, we are obliged to point out that you obviously do not need to purchase an extended warranty at the same time you purchase your electrical goods and are entitled to shop around. We have been encouraging our customers to do just that for years because, not only are our prices significantly cheaper than our competitors, but just look at what else we include:

Full parts and labour cover If your unit goes wrong we'll fix it. No quibbles and no fuss.

Pick up and drop off at your home Carting a screen around can be a tricky business. To save you any unnecessary hassle, should your screen need repairing, we'll pick it up from your home and return it as soon as it's ready. (LCD under 32" return to store)

Like for like machine replacement if unit is unrepairable If, for any reason, we are unable to repair your unit, we'll replace it. Naturally, models do change so, while we can't guarantee that it will be the same model, we do guarantee that it will have equivalent specifications.

45 Day Cooling Off Period If you're not happy with our 5 Year TV Guarantee package just ask for a full refund - no questions asked. After 45 days, providing no claim has been made, you can also terminate the agreement and receive a pro-rata refund.
You cant get passed the barriers without a card. Makro deals are useless.

Get a business account, and make 2 purchases of £50 on it, and thats enough to get a card.
Not worth the effort though, as its not cheap at all. I dont know why anyone bothers using it??

This is still usefull for some people, just as upgrade deals are for some not others and local deals are for some and not others.

I still feel it is hot though as its the cheapest this great TV can be found anywhere, and not just by a few pence.

I love Richard Sounds. . . . . . lol

Would pay the extra and go to Richer Sounds. Makro after sales is dire, if it goes wrong they don't want to know.

The Richard Sound 5yrs warranty deal is definately better than the Macro deal with or without a card.

heat added - have makro card

Had this TV from Richer Sounds but experienced problems with it. It would not pick up any freeview channels without a freeview box connected to it and it also switched itself on from standby mode a few times. Sent it back to RS whereby got a full refund. Managed to get the Toshiba Telly from Amazon which is excellent.
