Got this one, Think its last years (previous) model, its got a square stand that does not pivot.

I use it as a second tv (for the bedroom), good tv, no complaints, paid slightly more for it 8 weeks ago.

Paid 10% more to have the extended warrenty.

Trouble with Richer sounds is when it says instore only it tends to be in one store only in the country and one left

beats the pixmania offer even if it is an older model

gets the cutomers through the door though ,,,,, :whistling:

Was considering this but the new model is £30 more. Worth it?

doesn't bother me at least you know some dick head courier isn't going to "lose" it or smash it up and I think it's more fun to collect in store AND you get it the same day

as long as it's not a misleading price then it's fine for me :-D

Which magazine rate this TV as 65% and importantly suggest that the 5 series (this is the 4 series) has a far superior picture.

This is the 3 series, the new one is the 4 series (I'm 90% sure, look at the model name.)

The 5 series is the 1080p model is it not?

I have the series 5 and it is a 1080p I paid £379 for it from John lewis a few months back and I am more then happy with it in fact i would go so far to say its a cracking good tv, richie sounds are doing it now for £349 on a 12 month guarantee or £384 for a 5 year one,

might get them through the door but nothing worse than so called richer … might get them through the door but nothing worse than so called richer web exclusive deals which are always out of stock,i just laugh when i see richer deals as i know you will be lucky to find any of the deals they advertise biggest bulls£H%t on the web

[COLOR="Black"]Hi Rick

I saw your comments with regards to our web deals being out of stock and wanted to take this opportunity to reply.

I can assure you that the products we advertise are certainly always available and in stock either in our stores or from our warehouse. We literally serve many thousands of customers every week, the vast majority of whom are happy with our service, prices and availability.

From time to time, due to the small size of some of our stores, products can temporarily sell out - especially products which are featured in our ad campaigns and on our website. However, in these circumstances stock is always available to order by the store from our warehouse.

Of course, the only exception to this is when a supplier cannot fulfill the quantities we require due to demand, despite our regular requests for more stock! Although in these cases we always clearly state that stocks can be erratic / finite in supply.

Finally please be assured that the last thing we would want would be to antagonise our valued customers by intentionally advertising stock which we do not have. This would hardly be good customer service and we would have absolutely nothing to gain in doing so!

I would therefore respectfully invite any customers to visit one of our stores to gauge their own opinions on our service, stock availability and prices.

In the meantime, if you would still like to purchase one of these Samsung LCD TVs then please contact me and I will arrange to get one of these for you ASAP.

Yours sincerely,

John Clayton
