OK it's not class 10 before everyone tells me ! But this card is needed if you have an in car video camera like the G1W which won't take a class 10 and doesn't like Sandisk.
It's around half the price of other sellers and although it's been on here in the past it was £16.17 then !

Thanks !
haha "Frustration-free packaging" (for an extra 3.43 and prime)
Great, just what I've been looking for, for my G1W
Note: 3rd party seller + not fulfilled by Amazon UK so could be fake for all we know seller could try to pull a fast one. Buyers beware.
Class 6 - means sustained write is only 6MB/s.
24MB/s "transfer rate" must be for read only, not write, otherwise it would be Class 10.
heard that class 6 meant minimum 6MB/S while class 10 only guarantees speed when fully defragmented. source is gone or changed now though..

I take your point, but most of the issues seem to be with class 10 cards which are more desirable. People test these cards & write feedback:

"Samsung 32GB Class 6 24MB/s Micro SDHC Standard Memory Card without Adapter (Accessory)

I ran the tests on this and it appears genuine I use it in a car cam and so far it performs OK
about four weeks in the car now"
I remember when 1gb used to be this price! X)
I remember when 1 meg of ram was £25 I am sad to say!
I remember when a computer with 48k of ram was 400 notes
I remember when 1gb cost 80k and weighed more than a washing machine...oh wait i'm only 23
I have a 32gb samsung u-sdhc class 10 card that is a couple of years old and a 32gb class 6 card like this one that I got from amaz a year ago.
Speeds as measured with a simple sandisk micromate usb2 adapter in Crystaldiskmark:
500MB seq read/write
C10: 18,75/11,53 MBps
C6: 18,93/14,98 MBps

512k read write:
C10: 18,31/2,011 MBps
C6: 18,63/4,953 MBps

Worth paying premium for the class 10 card? You decide :P
Would the read speed on this be suitable for HD video playback on my tablet?

Honestly, I would have sent the C10 card back as it does not meet the class specifications. Could be fake?

The card can exceed the spec, the spec. only guarantees a sustained minimum. You can also get much higher peaks.

I'm a bit confused though, usually there is a minor difference between sequential and 512kB r/w, the smaller block transfers is where you expect to see differences.

My first USB stick was 16mb and that cost £40! It came in a big box with a thick manual and driver CD lol

Ah, youth!

I used punched cards, tapes and 8inch floppies.
Wrote my first device driver for 360K 5 1/4 inch floppies and paid over £200 for a 10MB hd.

Except for the fact that it won't work with the G1W camera which doesn't like Sandisk (see original text) and Ebay is absolutely stuffed full of fakes.
I bought a Sandisk card from Ebay that was a fake and the sellers were all arreseted - a gang of Chinese illegal immigrants in Sheffield! However, they paid ebay to remove the negative feedback, and even though Ebay knew they were counterfeiting cards, they did nothing to close their account.
Buy branded memory on Ebay at your peril !
not bad price.. although looking for class 10 32gb samsung microsd. anyone know cheapest around?

Amazon is £13.95 - other cheaper prices are for resellers (no idea if they are genuine or fakes?)
This is from the seller Locoisle777, anyone have experience if the card is real or fake?

The seller is registered in HK

I remember paying an extra 40 quid for 256k of Cache memory.

Ah crumbs, I ordered without looking properly earlier as I need a microSD card... Turns out I ordered from Locoisle777, and amazon won't let me cancel now as the 'seller is preparing item for dispatch'

Never had a problem with fakes before, but I've also never ordered from a marketplace seller that isn't fulfilled by amazon... any idea if amazon will let me return it if its fake?
