Samsung - 3D Glasses - SS-G2100 £49.98 Delivered @ Robert Whyte cheapest I can find ATM I know they have been cheaper but best deal now. (Cheaper than Ebay)

Samsung's new battery powered 3D Active Glasses are the gateway to Samsung 3D entertainment.

Impressive both in how they function and in what they allow you to experience, the technology works as follows: When you put them on and look at the screen, the technology first blocks the left and then the right lens.

It happens faster than the blink of an eye – so your eye won't notice it. But when images are shown to each eye separately this "staggered" effect achieves far more lifelike 3D images.

Good price.

Oddly, I've found that I've ended up with 5 pairs of these for various reasons (freebie from Samsung plus compensation pairs from them), some of which are retail boxed. From starting with only 1 pair, I've now more glasses than people in my family to use them oO

I'll wait for a TV that doesn't need them, Sony were showing one off at CES.

Just thought I'd add that if you add promotional code 4111 you get 3% off

Won't be long...Toshiba have already launched a 20" with a 40" and 46" due out later this year.....

Lol, yeah new models for tvs = lots more money.

I thought these were £39ish before Christmas?

They have a very narrow viewing angle, or can only be viewed by 1 person at a time. Just like the 3DS.

For now, lets see what the future holds. Been burnt too many times by being an early adopter (i.e. guinea pig), I'm sitting this one out til I see something I'm happy with. Already got a 1080p set despite only being able to see blurays or my PC in that definition, and none of my discs are 3D, and I'm not re-buying it all yet again!

I said the same until I viewed a set in a shop

btw, 3D films are ok, but it's games that really benefit from 3D. Try Motorstorm 3D for example.....simply awesome oO

Motorstorm 3D is very good as the cars stand out from the background more. It's more playable than the 2D version in my opinion. Didn't like GT in 3D though. Wipeout 3D is very good - I like the way that the interface leaps off the screen. As it Super Stardust - some nice in your face explosions.
