So?...and your point is what?

I woudnt personally recommend the 6 series (including the D6100, or the D6510 or the D6530) following reading several forum threads located on google related to half resolution 3d. only the 7 series and 8 series do not suffer from this problem. hdtvtest has a more on this.

I was going to get the 6530 but after reading about that, I'm going to wait and get the 55d8000.
ATM the cheapest is £1650 ( £1800 then £150 cahback ). It was £2500 a month ago and most places have it for £2000 so not sure if it will come down any more after Xmas.

Samsung Series D6000 3D TVs have a permanent defect in that 3D is SD not HD. This will not be rectified by software updates. For further details:

avforums.com/for…tml

Note that all 3D Series D6000 TVs are affected, not just the D6530.

If you want 3D in HD, avoid this TV. On the upside, Which? were sufficiently impressed with D6100 2D performance to award it 'Best Buy' status. Score 68%
