Thanks, I must admit it was a bit of a hasty posting, and purely a selfish one, as I am thinking of getting this TV, but wanted some second opinions.

Is this OLED display?

Unfortunately not, especially for this money. The LED technology referes to the type of back lighting employed.

Bit of a marketing ploy really, but still very much improved on the traditional back lighting.

Serves me right for deliberating over it, gone up to £1154.99 now, but still with 5 year extended warranty, so still a good deal.
