This is my first deal guys so go easy....

Just ordered the above TV for £415. Use code XX916 for 15% off to bring price down to £456. Then 9% cashback from Quidco gives £41.

Looked around and Comet are doing this for £549. Few others selling for around the £500 mark but thought this was a good deal.

Oh dear what?

Thanks for the helpful comment.

I can feel the freeze coming - great price but Littlewoods are 'famous' for not honoring voucher codes

I know. I have used the code and its come through OK. If they change the price then they can have it back.

Dont see why my deal should be trashed because of a retailers behaviour though. If they honour my price it looks like I get the laugh over everyone who is giving it the freeze then doesn't it.

What is the origin of the code? If it's a special offer on some obscure credit card and they then realise 3 months later that you never used that type of card then they're not giving you the 15% off.

??? A 40" tv like this for £415, why are people voting cold?
Littlewoods or not, it's HOT!

The code was posted on here on a list of working voucher codes. I tried a couple that failed and that one worked.

Thats what I thought.

The bottom line is that NOBODY who voted cold has got any reason to have done so if its because the code "might" be rejected. Until that can be proven, this is a cheap price for a 40" full HD tv - FACT!

Good spot. I think you might not get the Quidco, but almost everyone here:

hotukdeals.com/ite…e=8

seems pretty happy with the way codes work.

If you'd prefer to know for sure what it's going to cost, the 37" is £425 at M&S with a 5y warranty if you inclide quidco 5% which is more likely to track.

Thats where I got the code from. I have used them before without any problems.

People can vote cold all they want. I got this for £415. If other people wanna pay more then go nuts kids.

Peace out!

This company are an absolute nightmare to deal with. They are Very poor.

Seriously, I am not in the habit of trying to offend anyone but the situation with Very/Littlewoods and their codes, certainly on this forum, are one where they are treated with scepticism.

Ah. The deal knockers are out in force today.

Confirmation received, cashback tracked. Nothing to suggest this isn't a great deal so far.

I'd like to see percentage of codes that work vs don't and see what the risk really is. Have heard about the bad experiences way more than the good, but not sure that is accurate.

I've never had a problem with codes and cashback always tracks.

Using Quidco non-approved codes can invalidate cashback.

Also be wary of companies claiming discounted voucher rebates back, many months after purchase - they won't take the used goods back of course.

Not voting on this, I rather like it.

You can't post the price net after any Quidco discount, as the cashback is not guaranteed btw.

Me either. I bet if I was a member with hundreds of posts etc this would have been red hot by now. Some people have definately just frozen because its my first deal.

I couldn't care less anyway. All I tried to do was help a few people out by sharing my good price and people just trash it because its Littlewoods/Very.

I have been on the hunt for a tv around this size and spec and I can say that if the codes works then this is an awesome deal!!

Have some heat!

Received the TV today. Absolutely spot on.

No problems with the discount code and the Quidco has tracked so far. I challenge anybody to find a Samsung 40" 1080p tv for less than £456....

As a further update, My Quidco has today been validated at £40.97 and the price with 15% has been accepted.

So I think this is a blatant F You to all those who voted cold.
