With the proximity to black friday, what are the chances a tv like this will drop to sub £300?

Sub £300 sounds a miracle, this price is decent I’d say it’d go £350 lowest but let’s see what others have to say.

No doubt you’ll get a few sarcy time-machine related responses...

only 8bit, may it burn in hell!

£444 now. £449 on John Lewis with 5 year warranty.

You need to use the code for 10% off. Just picked one up myself, they can't apply the code in store so use the Fast track pay and collect if not getting it delivered. Extra £10 off code as well for next purchase.

Hi, any chance you could measure the width of the stand?

Thanks

Reckon it's worth waiting till black Friday if you're not desperate?

Hi, stand is 73cm wide. TV is now wall mounted and looks great. I needed something quickly to help with house renovation and not sure you'd get much cheaper even on Black Friday. Wanted a 40 inch as 50 would be too big for the space, very happy so far.

Thanks, too big for me so appreciate the reply

Reduced again today, down to £359.10, brilliant price for this TV.

Just picked one up, £359.10 plus a free £10 discount code! Excellent price for a great TV, many thanks SausageBap!

Also just picked one for our daughter, but the model we were given is a 40MU6100? Should we take it back? As far as I can see there's no difference in spec?

And, anyone know if this will play 4k content from usb?

Just ordered one for my mum. She wants to to record on it. Can i fit a portable hard drive or just a flash drive?

3% TCB today

Thanks OP. I had just ordered one of these without the code. Rang up cancelled and reordered! Perfect

Think you got the better deal - that model seems to come with a universal voice remote and bluetooth. The one in the deal has a standard remote and no bluetooth.

I ordered the MU6120 - just waiting for it to be delivered but not sure if I might send back now as might wait and see if the model you got might go on sale on BF.

For people who ordered this - does yours say UE40MU6100 on the cardboard box label or UE40MU6120?

Mine was just delivered and the box says UE40MU6100 but not sure whether or not to open it as I would prefer the one with the smart remote.

Can confirm UE40MU6100 on the box, with Argos code 687/5648 with two remotes, standard and smart remote.

Really happy I got this model as I can sync my bluetooth headphones up - much better if I want to watch late at night and not wake anyone up.

Thanks for the NOWTV link - I was wondering if we would be able to claim or not as Argos didn't mention it. Seems like this deal just gets better!

TV pleb,what's the difference?

The number of possible colours it can display.

8 bit can show 16.77 million.
10 bit can show 1.07 billion.

As to whether you personally can see any difference, you need to go into a store and take a look. . .

Seems like a good deal looking for a 4K tv for my sons game console for Christmas anyone know how long deal is good for or wait for Black Friday?

Thank you sir, 40+ year old eyes will manage with 16 million

Price is now £449 and codes don't work

Argos gave me 6100 instead of 6120. Complained to customer service and got £20 voucher.
