that doesnt really come across as polite:roll:

I think it's actually the PS42A416 (no DX suffix) . Previously posted on HUKD at in ]December.

Cheapest on the net is £500 so this is a good price if you want that telly. I have a Pansonic myself and love it to bits but the prices have gone up a bit on those lately.

It's HD ready which is fine for just about everyone. Unless you are sitting 6-7ft away then you won't get any benefit from FullHD - that's if you can get a FullHD source (BluRay) as most HDTV is only 720 icluding BBC.

Whereas you are obviously the last bastion of decency in a world gone bad.

The only person I've seen on here be positively rude is you. Saying "any details, evidence" is more an example of the way people truncate their language these days. If it was surrounded by "Are there any details or evidence of this deal, because I can't find any" then it would similarly not be rude, but may be more acceptible to the ear as it's less curt.

Your response to it sounded arrogant and rude, and you've continued that with your other posts.

That goes for 99% of the stuff on here for me!

lol, does it have to come to this bashing?

end of the day, typed text comes over different to the spoken word. Draw a line under it peeps.

Exactly, most people don't mean any offence by their typed talk, it's just done in a rush, and this forum is better off without bashing each other, we're all here for the same, to save some money and get good deals.

Price should be amended to include VAT. As it is a good deal rather than a great one when you whack the extra £60 on.

I agree..... Very well said.

I've voted this deal cold as there's no direct link and the price is £460 when you apply the vat. The £399 in the title makes it look prettier than it is, even though I appreciate the title does say +VAT. The VAT has to be paid so why not state the full price from the beginning, rather than telling us that the deal is plus vat? It's a bit like finding a decent pc or laptop on ebay, only to be told at the bottom of the listing that the price does not include vat.

Nonsense! On a 42" screen, you can quite clearly tell the difference between 1080p and 720p... Even if most of your sources aren't currently 1080p, that can change very quickly, and you don't really want to have spent 500quid on a tv that can't display it at the full quality...

I would strongly advise going for a smaller screen that has Full hD.

thanks, voted hot.
