Use code 3D50 to get £50 off the £469 price to bring it down to £419 (You can also get just the TV without bluray and glasses for £406) There is free delivery available or collect in store. Seems like a bargain to me.

I thought that 3D TV's were top of the range, but this is onlt 720p.
Thanks 5426angela and hulse2k. Worked for me. Supposedly being delivered next Friday. Fingers crossed. Best Buy want £599 and £99 for the glasses. Got to get a 3d Bluray player now!!!!
Seems a very strange deal, especially for seeminly lower spec tv, but with 3D tech???
TV on its only only £359 here:

Very good deal
With x2 glasses & megamind bluray £419 hot for me but think 720p is a bit of a killer now (_;)

Tbh, most Xbox and Ps3 games don't play in full hd anyhoo. So won't be too disappointed. Also the ps3 can be used as 3d bluray player.

I think this is a great price for a good tv.
Seems to fulfill most criteria, good brand, size, nice to look at and a good price. barring the lack of full HD, which most cant see the difference anyway, its hot.
I'd go to best buy, pc world etc to look at the 3d TV's first as they do vary alot, just because it is cheap, doesn't mean it is any good.
Currys also have the Samsung 43" tv online showing a promo code which doesn't work, but if you're willing to give them a call it'll cost you just shy of £330.

Anyone know a decent deal around on a passive 3D tv? I think it's going to be the future of 3D tv... might as well back the winner from the start

As long as your willing to pay through the nose for it. Thats if you want to back a winner that is?
This is still working ,is it any good ?
Just got this in store after some deliberation. It's awesome, really impressed.

I've never had a plasma before. Just reading the manual now and there is a whole section on screen burn. I know they used to suffer from it years ago, is it still as bad now? It's quite scary to read how easily it says it can occur...any help appreciated.
How the hell can it be on only 720 when its also a 3D telly? Surely you need a lot more than 720 vertical pixels to show a 3D image. You would think it would be capable of showing a 1080 2D image unless whatever decodes the images is somewhat limited.
If you play say, Call of Duty for any length of time you will notice some retention on ANY plasma but once you start watching something else it disappears.
It really isn't an issue and, personally, a decent plasma is better than any LCD, certainly any LED.
And, personally, I have yet to be convinced by any 3-D film, not demo, that feels nothing more than a novelty or a parallax style effect, and I have looked right through the price range.
For me, a good quality plasma still reigns.
I wasn't impressed by 3D at all, I thought people looked all flat like a pop up book. More excited about a 4K 21:9 cinema TV..
Anyone tried cashback on this ?
Not even full HD? I didn't think such a thing still existed.

Wouldn't bother with a 720p TV to be honest.

Ordered for the bedroom. Won't use 3D much but glasses will be good extras for my front room set. Sky only transmit 720 so thats no problem £10 odd quidco tracked as well
Sky transmit's 1080i, which is the same as Passive 3d tv's. Passive 3d isn't full hd. This set is fantastic value.
Good price for a basement level 3DTV.
OMG !! I just had a very close shave :O
I ordered one and got all the way to entering my CC details (payment for £419 ),then it said error saying it could not process the transaction for £3k + Jessssssus!!!! sure enough ,there in my basket ,where (pre payment ) there was only one ,there were now 8 tvs ???
I am not buying you all one !!!
Thanks got it didnt process
Does normal standard TV (i.e. NOT 3D) look OK or do you have to wear the glasses all the time?
There are no decent Passive TV's IMO (at the moment anyway) . I was interested in the 6 series LG's but after watching one I found a fair amount of cross talk also wasn't too good if you moved around a bit while watching 3D. Shame, as I fancied one because of my kids and the cheap passive glasses!!

Glasses only required when watching 3D content on TV
I went in store to test the TV out and it looks awesome in both HD and 3D, I was surprised how good it was.

I'm not really sure how anyone can compare the 2 and give you an answer... depends what you want it for really
I suppose I'm not trying to compare them technically, but if you had to choose one over the other for say a bedroom... What would it be.

1080p 40" or the 720p 3d for £50 more.
